Finnish Air Force Acquires FlightPro™ as enterprise Operations Management System

The Finnish Air Force Materiel Command today completed the purchase agreement to acquire the Operations and Training Management System - FlightPro™. This agreement is the outcome of a competitive tender process for the delivery to the Flight Operations Management Services

(FOMS) project requested in June 2009. The project delivers a comprehensive scheduling, aircrew currency & qualification management, asset status and capability reporting tool to the Finnish Defence Forces at a whole of force level. With initial implementation to Tikkakoski and Kauhava Air Bases, therefore delivering FlightPro™'s comprehensive Training Management System capability to the Training Air Wing and Air Force Academy; the full roll out will include all Air Force Units, Helicopter Battalion, Artillery Brigade (UAV) and Air Force Command Finland.

Lufthansa Airline Training Center (ATCA) chooses FlightPro™ - Civil

Lufthansa Flight Training's Airline Training Center located at Goodyear in Phoenix Arizona, has contracted Ocean Software to deliver and implement the Operations and Training Management product - FlightPro™. Drawing on Ocean's fifteen plus years of experience in the support of

flight training operations globally, ATCA looks to gain improved scheduling efficiency and corporate governance with a resultant improvement in utilization and output. FlightPro™ - Civil live in Australia; Oxford Aviation Academy - Melbourne.

UK MoD signs contract extension for FlightPro™ at RAF Coningsby.

In 2005, Ocean's Operations and Training Management product - FlightPro™ was implemented to manage Maintenance Technician and Flight Simulator training at the Typhoon Training Facility (TTF). The UK MoD has now signed a contract extension covering both the continuance of

Maintenance & Support Services to the TTF and importantly a Licence extension to cover all Typhoon units at RAF Coningsby.

Ocean successfully completes delivery for JP2030 Ph7b (ULTRA) - Unit Level Tool project.

In 2006, Ocean Software was contracted by the DMO to customise and implement the Operations and Training Management product - FlightPro™ for delivery to all ADF flying units. Implemented

on the Air Command Support System, ULTRA delivers a state of the art enterprise wide aircrew scheduling, categorisation and currency management capability to the RAAF's front line units with the added benefit of FlightPro™'s legacy Training Management functionality covering both on-the-job training (OJT) and the Operational Conversion Units (OCUs) on a single system. The ULTRA project now transitions to sustainment phase with development underway to add enhanced capabilities, keeping pace with the dynamic environment that is military flying operations.
